Hitting snooze may offer a temporary usense of relief, but there is mounting evidence that it also keeps us from starting our day with a feeling of purpose and lack of productivity for the rest of the day 😱😱



When your alarm goes off a second time, it wakes you up in the middle of REM instead of at the end of REM. 

As a result, you end up feeling foggy and disoriented and ⁉️ NOT in a ‘ready to conquer the world’ state.

Not exactly the best way to start your day wouldn't you agree ?


Here is what to do to break this unproductive habit:



1- Create a ROUTINE !

Go to bed and get up at the same time each day, including weekends. 

By going to bed and waking up at similar times each day and night, your body will get used to a rhythm helping you fall asleep and wake up each day and night"


2- Put your alarm OUT OF REACH !

Straight away get DOING something like drink some water, make your bed, boil water, get into the shower...whatever keep you busy

Simply by having to get up, cross the room, and turn the alarm off sometimes wakes us up enough that we do not want to go back to sleep


3- Do it for 3 consecutive days

If you want to continue a positive habit, make sure you don't skip it for three days straight, because if you let it lapse it's hard to start again.

#hashtag and @tag

Are you confused between #hastag or @tags ? Here is some clarifications: On Facebook, Instagram and Twitter , the pound sign (or hash) turns any word or group of words that directly follow it into a searchable link.  This allows you to organise content and track discussion topics based on those keywords. So, if you wanted to post about social media for example, you would include #socialmedia  in your post to join the conversation.  You can click on a hashtag to see all the posts that mention the subject in real time. @Tagging people in social media photos can extend the reach of those photos, which is likely why some of us want to tag everyone and their brother – so to speak.  !!! But be careful with tagging people who are not actually in the photo. It could be considered spam or at least annoying. !!! only tag people in photos – no matter the network (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter all allow it) – when people are actually in them.
